मूल छ मुक्तक

कतै पैसाको पछी दौडिएका मानिसको हुल छ
कतै ऐसको पछी हौसिएका मानिसको सङ्गुल छ
कतै बैंसको पछि रौसिएका मानिसको बाहुबल छ
मलाइ थाहा छैन, तर बुझ्छु शिक्षा नै यसको मूल छ।

सदिनाको दिन खुल्यो

स्कुल जानु भन्दा अगाडी हाँसखेल गर्र्दै रमाई रमाई होमवर्क गर्ने सदिना स्कुलको युनिफर्म लगाउने बित्तिकै अँध्यारो रुन्चे मुख लगाउँछिन्।्। उनलाई कहिले बाबाले कहिले आमाले लगेर मुख्य बाटो सम्म लगेर गाडीमा चढाई दिनुहुन्छ । बेलुकी तेसरी नै हस्ँयाँंग फस्याङ्ग गर्दै बाबा या आमा उनलाई बाटो सम्मा लिन जानु हुन्छ ।थकित भएर निन्याउरो मुख लगाउनु र्पने सदिना बेलुकी गाडीबाट ओर्लिने बित्तिकै झरझर बाल्ने उज्यालो अनुहार लिएर निकिन्छिन्।
बाबु आमालाई भने यो छोरी स्कुल जानु परेकोमा धेरै गा¥हो मानेकी हो भन्ने बुझाई मा ढुक्क थिए । ‘यो केटीलाई स्कुल जानु नर्पदा कति खुसि हुन्छे’ भन्ने भनाइ संधै आमाको मुखबाट आउँथ्यो । छोरी किन स्कुल जान मानिन भन्ने चै प्राय बाबु आमालाई थाहा भए झैँ लाग्दथ्यो । उनीहरु शिक्ष्तिि मानिने परिवारको खान्दान् हुनाले बाल मनोविज्ञान बुझेको उनीहरुको दाबी थियो । तेसैले सदिनालाई दुवै जना बाउआमाले बुझेको भन्ने गरिन्थ्यो ।
‘कक्षा एक सम्म त ठिकै थिई छोरी अहिले कक्षा दुईमा पुगेर छोरी बिग्री’ ्भनेर सँधै सदिनाकी आमाले कचकच गरि रहनु हुन्थ्यो ।बुबाको भने छोरी संगतले बिगरिएकी हो भन्ने ठहर थियो । छोरीलाई के भयो? किन स्कुल जान गा¥हो लागेको भन्ने कुरा सोध्ने औचित्य ति शिक्षित अभिभावकले ठानेनन् ।उनीहरुलाई समस्याको मूल कारण थाहा भएपछी किन सोध्नु बच्चीलाइ ?
उनको पढाई प्रति खासै कसैको पनि गुनासो सुनिदैनथ्यो । उनको काम गर्ने तरिका पनि राम्रो थियो । स्कुलमा गुरुआमाहरुले कैलै सदिनाको बारेमा गुनासो गर्नु भएको थिएन । स्कुलमा जाना साथ अनुहार उज्यालो हुन्थ्यो सदिनाको । बाउआमाले स्कुल जान मान्दिन भन्दा गुरुआमहरु बिल्कुल विश्वास गर्नु हुन्न थियो । तेसैले कैले काहिँ सदिनाको बाउआमा स्कुलसंग रिसाएर झरकिने गर्नुहुन्थ्योे ।त्यस्तो धेरै प्रसंशा पाउँदा पनि गालि गरेको सुनेर गुरुआमाहरु छक्क पर्नु हुन्थ्यो । उनको लेखाई सानै भएपनि परिपक्क थियो । सफा लेख्ने, लुगा केहि मैलो नपार्ने, दिएको काम खुरुखुरु गरेर सक्ने, धेरै नबोल्ने चाहिँदो मात्रै बोल्ने जस्ता सदिनाका गुणहरु मध्ये पर्दथे।
बाउआमा बिहान छोरीलाई स्कुल जान तयार पारेर टिफिन झोलामा हालिदिएर हिँडेका ठ्याक्कै बेलुका मात्रै फर्किन्थे। दिनभरिको तनाव अनि बेलुका घर आउँदा घरेलु कामको तनाव हुनाले दुवैजना दम्पतिलाई खासै छोरीको कुरा सुन्ने फुर्सत पनि हुन्न थियो ।सदिना स्कुल जाने आउने । बेलुका आमाले जे दियो त्यही खाने अनि सुत्ने । बिहान आमाले बोलाउनु भन्दा पैलै उठ्ने । अनि स्कुलको तयारी गर्ने, अनि निन्याउरो मुख लगाएर स्कुल जाने । यस्तै थियो सदिनको दिनचर्या । बाउआमा पनि छोरीलाई तयार पार्ने स्कुल जानै अनि बेलुका अफिसबाट आउने खान बनाउने एकछिन टिवी हेर्ने अनि सुत्ने । प्राय कसैलाई केहि फाल्टु कुरा र्गने फुर्सत हुँदैन थियो ।
स्कुलका शिक्षिका केटाकेटिलाई काम गराएर सकाउँदा सकाउँदै केहि कुरा र्गन भ्याउँदैन थिए । क्लासवर्क गरायो अनि चेक ग¥यो बुझायो तेत्तिकै मा केहि गर्न फुर्सत हुँदैन थियो गुरुमाहरुलाई । घरमा बाबुआमा जागिरे भएकाले सदिनाको कुरा सुन्ने त कोइ नै थिएन भन्दा पनि हुन्थ्यो । सदिनाले कैलै आफुलाई मन लागेको कुरा भन्ने गरेकी थिईनन् । उनले मन नपरे कालो मुख लाउन्थिन्, केहि बोल्दिन थिईन् ।चुपचाप लाग्थिन् ।


एकदिन केटाकेटी मेडिया क्लबका सरहरु सदिनाको स्कुलमा आएका रहेछन् । केटाकेटीले त के देख्त प्रिन्सिपललाई भेटेर केके कुरा गरे कुन्नि बेलुकीको एसेम्बलीमा ति नयाँ सरहरुले भोलि कथा सुनाउने कायक्रम छ भनेर सूचना दिनु भयो । सबै विद्र्यार्थी फुरुङ्ग भए । सब जनाले घरघरमा गएर बाउआमालाई सुनाए। कसैका बाउआमाले राम्रो कुरा हो भने । कसैकाले काम बिनाको नसुना भनेर छोराछोरीलाई हकारे । सदिनाले भने घरमा गएर बाउआमालाई केहि सुनाइनन् किनकि उनको कुरा प्राय नसुन्ने, सुनाउँदापनि झरकिने गर्नु हुन्थ्यो । बिचरा त्यो सानी फुच्चिलाई के थाहा बाउआमा थाकेर आएका छन दिनभरी अफिसको तनावले गर्दा भनेर ।

भोलि पल्ट क्लबका सरहरु आउनु भयो । अनि सदिनाको कक्षामा पस्नु भयो । कथा सुनाउनु भन्दा पहिला सरहरुले उनीहरुको कुरा सुन्ने भन्नु भयो । सबले आफुलाई मन पर्ने र नपर्ने कुरा भन्नु पर्ने नियम बनाएर सरहरुले सबैलाई आफ्नो कुरा भन्न लगाउनु भयो । पालो सदिनाको पनि आयो । सबैले गुरुआमाहरु मायालु दयालु भएको कुरा भने । सबैले आफ्नो घरको खाना मिठो भएको कुरा राम्रा मध्येमा सुनाए । सदिनाले धेरै राम्रा कुरा भनिन् तर नराम्रो कुरा भन्न खोज्दा आँखा भरि आँशु पारिन् । सबै छक्क परे । सदिना तिर हेरेको हेरैे भए । सदिनाले मधुरो स्वरमा भनिन् , अरुले भनेको जस्तै भनिन तर अलिक भावुक स्वरमा ।
‘मलाई सब भन्दा मन नपने त्यो गाडीको कोचाकोच हो । बोरु म हिँडेर एकलै स्कुल आउँछु । मत त्यो गाडीमा उभिएर सँधै जान सक्दिन । रिंगटा लाग्छ । त्यती सानो माइक्रो बसमा त्यती धेरै मान्छे हुन्छन् ।’
भनेर डाको छोडिन् । सबै छक्क परे। सबैजना हेरेको हेरै भए। अरुले पनि त्यो गाडीका भिड हुँदा असजिलो भएको कुरा भनेका थिए तर सदिनाले भनेकाले सबैको ध्यान खिच्यो । छेउमा बसेर सुनी रहनु भएको प्रिन्सिपलको आँखापनी रसाएछन् । सब जना भावुक भए ।
कथा भनि सकेर सबजना केटाकेटीले तालि बजाए । फेरी पनि कथा सुनाउन आउने बाचा गर्द मिडिया क्लबका सरहरुू निस्किनु भो । प्रिन्सिपल्रले राम्रो कुरा केटाकेटिलाई सिकाएर गएकोमा धन्यबाद पनि दिनु भयो । हिँड्ने बेलामा सदिनासंग एकै छिन कुरा गर्ने अनुमति मागेर केटाकेटी मेडियाका सरहरुले बोलाउनु भयो ।
्‘तिम्रो भावुक भएको अनुहार देखेर हामी पनि भावुक भयौं। अरुपनि त्यो गाडीमा चढछन् तर उनीहरु त्यसरी रोएनन्। तिमी मात्रै किन त्यसरी रोएकी?’ भनेर सोध्ने भयो। तिम्र बुबा आमा कहाँ हुनु हुन्छ ?

‘बुबा आमाले मैले भनेको कुरा कैर्लै सुन्नु हुन्न। सबै भन्दा पछि चढने विद्यार्थी हुँ म। म स्कुल त्यो गाडीमा जान्न भन्दा गाली गर्नु हुन्छ। तेसै अल्छीले जान नमानेकी भन्नु हुन्छ। मलाई गाडीले गर्दा स्कुल जानै मन लाग्दैन। बुबालाई बोरु हिडाऐर लगि दिनु भनेको मान्नु हुन्न। अस्ति त यो केटि बिग्री भनेर गालि गर्नु भो।’ भनेर आँखा भरि आँशु पारिन्। सरले आमा बाउको फोन नम्बर मागेर भेट्न जानु भयो। सबैकुरा भनेर बुझाए पछी सदिनाको बुबाआमाले आफ्नो कमजोरी महसुस गर्नु भयो। स्कुलको प्रिन्सिपललाई पनि सदिना रोएकोले मन छोएछ क्यार भोलिपल्टै नयाँ स्वराज माज्दाको गाडी अर्डर गर्न लगाउनु भयो। अहिले सदिनाको स्कुल बस सिटमा बसेको बिद्यार्थी मात्रै देिखन्छन्। सब केटाकेटीले मेडिया क्लबको सरहरुलाई मनमनै धन्यबाद दिए। सदिना पनि त्यो दिन देखि खुसि अनुहार लाएर स्कुल जान थालिन्। बुबाआमा पनि सदिनाको कुरा सँधै सुन्न थनल्नु भयो। उसका विचार सुनिदिँदा तेस्रो चौथो आउने सदिना प्रथम हुने थालिन्। अहिले सदिनाको स्कुलमा विद्यार्थी बढेका छन्। सबै खुशी छन्।

दिलकुमारी दिदीको प्रण

२०६२/६३को जनआन्दोलन ताका दिलकुमारी दिदीले धेरै त्याग गरेकी हुन् । उनले बिहान ६ बजे घरबाट निस्किए देखी बेलुकीसम्म भोकप्यासको पर्वाह नगरी पार्टीका अन्य कार्यकर्ता भन्दा ज्यादा समय दिएकी हुन् ।घरमा प्राय श्रीमान नआउने पार्टीकै कामले गर्दा । देशका लागि यत्रो ठूलो बलिदान दिने बाउआमाका छोराछोरीको हालत के होला ? यसको अनुमान प्राय सबैलाई राम्रै हुन्छ भन्ने नै लगाउँछन् ।तर दिलकुमारी दिदीकी एकमात्र छोरी दिलाशाको जीवन अनौंठो थियो , बाउआमा अनौठा भए जस्तै ।

आमाले बिहान छोरीलाई एक गिलास चिया र एक प्याकेट बिस्कुट दिएर , ‘उ पर्तिर राजश्रीसंग खेल्दै गर है नानु्‘, भनेर निस्किनथिन्। छोरील ‘हस’ सम्म भन्न नभ्याउँदै हिडी सक्थिन् । छोरी बाहिर घरको पेटीमा बसेर बिस्कुट खाइ सक्थिन् अनि राजश्रीको घर तिर लाीग्थन् । कौशलटार चोकमा पुगेर सबै साथीहरुको लहैलहैमा लागेर नाराबाजी गर्न थालेपछि दिलकुमारी दिदीले आफ्नी छोरी बिर्सिनथिन्।

छिमेकीका छोराछोरीसंग खेल्न गएकी दिलाशा उतै रमाउँथिन् अनि दयालु स्वभावका छिमेकीले आफ्ना छोराछोरीलाई खाना दिँदा दिलाशालाई पनि संगै दिने गर्दथे ।यस्ता कुराको पत्तो दिलकुमारी दिदीलाई केहि हुँदैनथ्यो । जनआन्दोलन ताका प्राय स्कुलहरु बन्दनै रहन्थे ।केटाकेटीको खेल्ने र टिवी हेर्ने बाहेक केहि काम हँुदैनथ्यो ।दिलाशा सुरुसुरुका दिनमा खानाखाने समयमा आफ्नो घर फर्किन खाेिज्थन्। तर राजश्री कि आमाले ‘नजाउ आमा आउनु भएकै छैन’ भनेर त्यतै राख्थिन् । दुइचार दिनपछी त दिलाशाले जाने वास्ता पनि गर्न छोडिन् सँधै बेलुका मात्र घर जान्थिन, आमा आएपछि ।राजश्रीकी आमाले ‘जाउ अब तिम्रो घरमा आमा आउनु भा,े बत्ति बलो’ भनेर भनेपछि जान्थिन् । कैले काहिँ राजश्रीकी आमाल्े पु¥याई दिनु हुन्थ्यो दिलाशालाई ।

राजश्रीका बुबाआमा भने दिनभरी केटाकेटीसंगै बसेर दिन काटने र्गदथे । राजश्री कै उमेरकी दिलाशाले उनकी आमालाई राजश्री ले बोलाए झैँ गरि ‘मामु’ भन्थिन् । उनीहरुले पनि राजश्री कै मिल्ने साथी भएकीले होला ‘छोरी’ भनेर बोलाउँथे । बोल्नमा टाठी दिलाशा राजश्रीको घरमा धेरै घुलमिल भएकी थिईन् ।

यसरि छोरीलाई खेल्न पठाएर आफु देशको निम्ति होमिएकी दिलकुमारी दिदी बिहान हिँडेर बेलुका ७÷८ बजे तिर आउने प्रकृया निरन्तर चली नै रह्यो ।दिलाशा के गर्दै छ , के खाँदै छ , कसरि दिन काट्दै छको वास्ता बाबुआमालाई प्राय हुन छोडी सकेको थियो । जनआन्दोलनको सुरुसुरुका दिनमा ‘ए दिलाशा! कहाँ मारिस? छिटो घर आइज’ भनेर ठुलो सोरले बोलाउने दिलकुमारी दिदीले आन्दोलनको धङ्गधंगीले त्यो पनि छोडेकी थिइैन् ।बेलुका आएर हस्याङ्गफस्याङ्ग गर्दै कित लुगा धुन लाग्थिन् कि सब्जी किन्न जान्थिन्, दिलकुमारी दिद्ीको दिनचर्या अत्यन्त ब्यस्त भएको थियो त्यो बेला । छोरीको खासै वास्ता गर्न र्फुसत हँुदैनथ्यो दिलकुमारी दिदीलाई । कैले काँही दिलाशालाई छिमेकीले ल्याईदिन्थे भने कहिले काहिँ दिलाशा आफै घरको ढोका खुलेको देखेर दर्गुद ‘गएँ ल मामु’ भन्दै आफ्नो घर तर्फ दर्गुदै जान्थिन् ।
घरमा पुग्दा आमा के के काममा व्यस्त हुन्थिन् । दिलाशाले के के सोध्न मन गर्थिन्। तर आमाल ‘पर जा अहिले नकरा’ भनेर झर्किनु हुन्थ्यो, आन्दोलनमा नारा लगाए जसरी नै। अनि दिलाशा चुप लाग्थिन्। ‘मेरी मामुले त केहि सुन्नु हुन्न , राजश्री को मामु जस्तै भा पा,’े भन्ने साेिच्थन् दिलाशा। केहि भन्न भने सक्दिन थिईन् । बाबु भने कैले आउने कैले नआउने , आएको दिनपनि दिलकुमारी दिदिसंग रातभरी राजनीतिका कुरा गरेर दिलाशाको निद्रा समेत सब बिगारी दिन्थे ।

यसरि नै जनआन्दोलन चरम उत्र्कषमा पुगेर टुंङ्गियो ।अनि सबैका काम यथावत सुरु भए दिलाशाका बुबाआमाको भने राजनीति नै थियो प्राय त्सैले अलिक फुर्सद भयो ।अरुको झैँ दिलाशा को स्कुल पनि सुरु भयो ।कक्षा १ मा पढ्ने दिलाशालाई एकबर्ष अगाडी देखि नै म्बथ द्ययबचमभच को रुपमा राखेका थिए । बिहान ६ बजे स्कुल पु¥याई दिने अनि बेलुका लिन जाने । दिलाशाको दिनमा १२ ÷१४ घण्टा स्कुलमा बित्दथ्यो ।

एकदिन राजश्रीकोमा पुजाको दिन पारेर दिलाशाको परिवारलाई खाना खानै गरि बोलाइयो । त्यो दिन खोई कुन्नि दिलाशाका बुबा पनि चाँडै आउनु भएको रहेछ । भनेकै समयमा तिनैजना राजश्रीको घरमा हाँजिर भए । पूजा सकिएकोले सबैजना बैठक कोठामा बसेर गफ गरि रहेका थिए । खाना भने पाक्दै थियो ।

नमस्कार आदान प्रदान गरि सके पछी एक दुई जना अरु पाउनाँंग चिनापर्ची भयो । अनि गफको सिलसिला जारि रह्यो । केटाकेटी पनि एक अर्काको मुख हेर्दै ठुलाका कुरा सुनी रहे । राजश्री र दिलाशा जोडी बाँधिएर आमाबाउले बोलेको शब्द शब्द केलाएर सुन्न थाले ।
त्यतिकैमा दिलाशा र राजश्री राजश्रीकी आमाको छेउमा गएर बसे । गदागर्दैै दुवै जना एकएक पटिबाट राजश्रीकी आमाको काखमा बसेर सुम्सुम्याउन थाले । दिलकुमारी दिदीलाई असहज भई सकेको थियो । बाबुलाई भने राजनीतिको गफ र्चार्कएकोले त्यता ध्यान गएकै थिएन । ्‘माम,ु मामु मेराअर्काे मामुलाई भोक लग्यो होला , खाना पाकेन ? छिटो खाना दिँउ न!’ भन्दै दिलाशाले राजश्रीकी आमाको कपाल सुम्सुम्याईन् ।सबैको ध्यान खिच्ने दिलाशाको सुरिलो आवाजले सबै चुपचाप भए । दिलकुमारी दिदी लज्जित भईन् ।आफ्नी छोरी अर्काकी आमासंग गएर आफुलाई परपर गरेको जस्तो भान भयो दिलकुमारी दिदीलाई ।
उनले मनमनै सोचिन , ‘मैले यो छोरीलाई समय दिन नपाएर झन्डै अर्काकी छोरी भैछे । वास्तावमा राजश्रीका बाउआमाले दिलाशालाई राम्रो सेयरसुसार गर्दिएकाले त्यस्तो भएका थियो । हामीले भन्दा बढी माया दिई रहेका रहेछन् ।हुन पनि हो म जनआन्दोलनमा जाँदा मेरी छोरीलाई सहयोग गर्ने उनीहरु नै थिए नि! मलाई आज बल्ल थाहा भयोे । तेसैले मेरी छोरीले राजश्री कि आमालाई धेरै माया गर्न थालिछे ।अबदेखि म छोरीलाई समय दिन्छु । राजनीति जे सुकै होस् छोरीलाई माया दिन्छु । समय दिन्छु । अब म कैलै त्यसरी हिँडदिन ।’ भन्ने सोच्दासोच्दै सबैजना खाना खान निस्किई सकेका थिए ।उनले छोरीलाई समय दिने निधोगर्दै भान्साकोठातिर पसिन् । सबै एउटै परिवार जस्तो बसेर खान थाले ।दिलकुमारी दिदीलाई भने कता कता खिन्न भने भई रह्यो ।

An Appeal for help

Dilliram Bastola hasn't got a single chance to remain tense-free life even after 17 years of his stay in Katmandu. He has constantly been working with laborious work since he entered Katmandu 17 years earlier from Solukhumbu district of Nepal. He neither has his own house nor a single piece of land. He is the sustainer of his four children and his wife. He earns some money on the basis of daily wages and manages to solve the hand to mouth problem of his family members.

His eldest daughter studies at grade 10 now at Jagriti Secondary School, Jadibuti . His second son ..... has been surviving with his blindness since his birth and has been living a miserable life by blowing a flute at New Road gate everyday. The third and the fourth child Mr. Santosh and Sarita study at grade 5 and UKG respectively .

Daily wage of Mr. Bastola is hardly enough for food or the six members family. He is almost in his dire straits when he falls sick. He has lean and thin body . "In spite of his ill health he is bound to work for the food of his family members. His wife is not capable enough to work and earn money. He is working in a risky work of cutting stone despite his feeble physical condition. Once he falls ill there is a problem of food supply in his family however he is reluctant to tell his troubles to the people thinking that he would lose his dignity. His only intention of working with such a risky work is to sustain his children and provide them good education. However he doesn't have enough earning for paying tuition fee of his children. His children's monthly tuiton fee is around Rs. 2500. I felt quite sympathetic towards him when he hesitated to reveal his backgrounds initially .

His little land left in his hometown was sold for sending his younger brother for foreign employment but unfortunately his brother couldn't neither earn the money nor could survive himself . He expired after a sickness of some months and finally Dilliram became homeless.
He has been living in an old rented room at Jadibuti since last ten years. I don't know how he manages buying clothes and other necessary items as his daily earning is hardly enough for food supply. He used to sell corn few years earlier but now he has been involved in a risky work of cutting stone.

His children are talented and performing well in the school . However the school is pressurizing them to turn out from the school if his parents fail to pay of the dues. Dilliram was unable to pay off the tuition fees since last August as he felt sick for around six months. He keenly tried to give sight to his second son but of no avail as his nerves were not developed well .

I appeal all the humanity lovers and generous people to extend their helping hands to this family for the sake of human service. Let the children of Dilliram get equal opportunity of studies. Our small help may be a big help for poor family like this.

An appeal for helping us in a charitable work

With utmost regards I would like to share you something through this blog. I have been always motivated by different friends and by now I have multiple ideas to do something for poor children of Nepal in particular and to serve humanity in general.




Now, I would like to serve the society through different means if possible. The concept of charity I shared with you was my interest since long time but I have not yet found favourable cooperation from any of my acquaintances. However, you shared your ideas and showed at least patience in reading my ideas in facebook chat. This really made me delighted.

The idea is I would like to launch a project where we serve the innocent poor children who are deprived of proper health and education facility in remote villages of Nepal.There are around 260,000 child labours in Nepal. There are about 50000 children who do not have proper access to education in remote villages. There are many organizations working in Nepal but they are simply for the sake of earning money by some cunning people , it has not reached to the real people . If possible I would like to open some schools in those places where we provide good education free of cost. I want to generate fudns in a huge amount and invest on education here. Since education is the only foundation for all levels of development , I want to do something for the education as I experienced the bitter troubles while getting education in poverty ridden family .

The money can be generated through generous people from across the world. We can launch a campaign that "a person who recovers from illness' will pay 5 dollar for the poor and needy children's education in Nepal.

We make a facebook page and circulate our ideas to all the people in rich countries like America , UK , All the Europe . IF we become successful in drawing the attention of some people who have some charitable amount we can contribute a lot for the humanity and also get satisfaction . Our project will change the way of life and the children who are helped will definitely multiply the ideas later and do something for the society.

It our small effort can change the life of people why not we do something for the sake of humanity ? Lets put our hands together as a bond of our so long friendship in facebook . LEt the world recognize both of us in few months time.
